Nicky supports Climateworks’ communications team in delivering timely communication to amplify the impact of the organisation’s net zero systems change work.
Nicky draws on her experience translating decarbonisation pathways technical analysis for a broad range of audiences, along with three decades’ expertise in writing and editing. This included two decades working in advertising for both local and multinational agencies in Sydney and Melbourne.
In 2009, Nicky was accepted into training as a Climate Reality Presenter with former US Vice President Al Gore, before completing postgraduate studies in Integrated Human Studies with the University of Western Australia.
Prior to joining Climateworks, Nicky headed corporate communications at WWF Australia. Through running her own business, she has also developed targeted communications materials for clients including the Australian Conservation Foundation, Pollination Foundation, Climate and Health Alliance, state and local governments.
