Cassandra brings to the table over two decades of experience in the financial services sector, encompassing domains such as global funds management, institutional and retail investments, banking, financial education, and financial product ratings.
Erwin Jackson is one of Australia’s most respected climate policy analysts and advocates, bringing more than 35 years of experience across government, business and the not-for-profit sector to the role of Head of Australian Programs at Climateworks Centre. Erwin came to Climateworks from the Investor Group on Climate Change (IGCC) where he was Managing Director, Policy for seven years.
Jo is a senior human resources executive with extensive experience across various geographies and industries including tech, professional services and FMCG.
Trang came to Climateworks from the Victorian Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions, where she worked on the planning and review of fiscal policies for the state’s resources sector. Trang is also a non-executive Director for Asian Australians for Climate Solutions.
Alex leads Climateworks Centre’s Industry team, working across the organisation and with partners to accelerate industrial decarbonisation across Australia and the Asia Pacific.
Aleksandra leads the operations function at Climateworks working across business operations, governance, HR, facilities, administrative operations and other support functions.
Anna heads the Australian Country Context team which takes an outward facing approach to enhance Climateworks’ understanding of the political and economic landscape.
Ceren works within Climateworks’ International Country Context team, where she is responsible for projects and initiatives across Southeast Asia.
As Indonesia Country Lead, Egi oversees the organisation’s strategy, partnerships, and program delivery to accelerate emissions reduction and sustainable development across key systems.
Based in Climateworks’ Perth office, Kylie leads the Sustainable Economies system team, pursuing sustainable pathways towards net zero by focusing on how we can accelerate systems change in line with the goal of limiting global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees in national and sub-national economies.
Liam leads Climateworks’ efforts to reduce emissions within the Food, Land & Ocean system across Australia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
Michael leads the Research, Analysis and Modelling team that provides strategic direction on research practice at Climateworks Centre.
Portia leads this team to reduce emissions within cities across the built environment, infrastructure and transport sectors across Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
Simone works with Climateworks’ CEO, Senior Leadership team and philanthropic partners to develop and implement philanthropic strategic alignment, engagement and investment – to support the organisation’s mission to catalyse net zero emissions.
Sophie manages Climateworks’ Communications team, working to deliver compelling communications that bridge our knowledge and grow audiences across the region in line with our strategic goals.
Eithne leads the delivery of a multi-year program called the Natural Capital Investment Initiative, which seeks to better integrate and make visible the value of nature in corporate and government decision-making.
Etwin leads Climateworks Centre’s South East Asia Framework for Ocean Action in Mitigation (SEAFOAM) program.
Gill works in Climateworks’ Cities team, leading research and policy projects to decarbonise Australia’s buildings sector, including residential and non-residential buildings, and both new and existing builds.
Glen is responsible for managing and expanding the impacts of the Energy System program, focusing on delivering system scale change to support the Australian Energy Transition.
Helen leads Climateworks’ transport program, working with government and industry stakeholders to define a common vision and action plan to move the sector to zero emissions.
Hugh leads Climateworks’ work on Net Zero Industrial Precincts in Australia, with a focus on accelerating significant emissions reductions in heavy industry supply chains through a place-based decarbonisation approach. Hugh has worked as a consultant in the agriculture, energy, water, and industrial sectors, providing advice to governments, universities and major corporations.
Jo leads the Land Use Futures program, a multi-year initiative developing pathways to sustainable land use for Australia.
Katherine facilitates policy work across Climateworks Centre’s Australian projects, with a particular focus on policies that will reduce industrial emissions at scale. A legal and policy specialist with expertise in Australian federal policy and international environmental law, Katherine worked in environment and security portfolios for the Australian Government before joining Climateworks.
Marine supports and coordinates Climateworks Centre’s Sustainable Corporates team, who assist the corporate sector to understand, commit to and take credible action towards net zero emissions.Â
Olivia provides insights into opportunities focused on accelerating systems change in alignment with the goal of limiting global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees, across national and sub-national economies.
Working within Climateworks Centre’s Sustainable Finance team, Ryan oversees projects at the intersection of climate, nature, and finance, with a focus on funding the climate transition.
Abi focuses on stakeholder engagement and policy coordination for Climateworks Centre’s work on Indonesia’s energy transition.
Anisa is tasked with supporting policy and delivery teams in Indonesia and the Southeast Asia (SEA) region to ensure our partnerships and engagement achieves impact, as well as support and coordinate business development efforts for funding opportunities in Indonesia and SEA (working closely with the Philanthropy team).
Brurce spearheads analysis around mobilising finance for climate in Indonesia with a focus on practical recommendations for governments and businesses to facilitate enabling environments and credible investment strategies supporting a net zero emissions future.Â
Dinda supports the Indonesia team through data and policy analysis, with a focus on sustainable corporations and an interest in green economies.
Ella helps shape Climateworks Centre’s external voice and impact. She works with the wider communications team to deliver compelling communications that bridge our knowledge and grow audiences across the region in line with our strategic goals.
Fikri is part of Climateworks’ Indonesia team. He is responsible for designing economic and governance research through applying qualitative and quantitative research, including economic modelling, and supporting robust data analysis, with a specific focus on Indonesia.
Juni assists Indonesia’s Country Lead, undertaking a variety of administrative duties to help ensure the Indonesia team’s success in delivering more complex projects, wider stakeholder engagement and high profile convening activities.
Tanya works within the Climateworks Indonesia team with a focus on energy and industry.
Wiraditma supports Climateworks Centre’s research into the role ocean-based mitigation can play in meeting climate goals.
