Program Impact Manager - Natural Capital

Katie leads the Natural Capital Investment Initiative which was established to develop tools and processes that support the scaling of natural capital measurement across Australia.

Previously, Katie was a researcher at the Cooperative Research Centre for Water Sensitive Cities where she led the water sensitive city transitions program. She is specifically interested in translating research to policy and practice to accelerate sustainability transitions in the water and environment sectors.

Katie is an interdisciplinary professional, with an environmental engineering background and extensive experience delivering social science research projects. She has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from University of Maryland in her home country of the United States. Before moving to Australia, she worked as a corrosion engineer focusing on restoration of concrete structures.
