Climateworks Centre has innovated and led thinking around pathways to decarbonisation since 2009. The next 10 years must be the transformational decade, where we have to go bigger than we ever have before.
In 2009, Climateworks was set up to bridge the gap between research and action. In the next decade, the world must halve emissions, and then halve them again every decade until 2050. To play our part in the net zero transition, cleaner, cheaper, energy, sustainable land practice and healthy food for the whole population, fossil fuel reduction, systems that consider their footprint through the entire supply chain, and massive innovations in technology — these are the measures that will rebuild the economy, to be stronger and more sustainable than ever before.
