Ro is responsible for driving projects within the research, modelling and analysis team. This includes modelling projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the development of key knowledge assets for Climateworks, including decarbonisation scenarios.

Previously, Ro led research for the Australian Industry Energy Transition Initiative, providing expertise in industrial decarbonisation and translating this work for multiple stakeholders. Her work spanned modelling and pathways development, knowledge and capability building, and supporting engagement activities for the initiative. She also contributed to developing scenario-based analysis, focusing on potential pathways to net zero emissions across Australia’s economy by 2050.

Before joining Climateworks, Ro worked as a Marketing Product Analyst in industrial manufacturing, specialising in demand modelling, pricing and market positioning for the Australia Pacific and Asia region. Her previous roles in manufacturing facilities covered process optimisation, plant efficiency, safety and project management.

Ro holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University of Newcastle.
