
Paul Farran
Paul was part of the Climateworks’ International and Country Context team where he focused on partnership building and business development. Paul was also actively engaged in the ASEAN Green Future project – a collaboration working with ASEAN member states to assist members and the region to boost their decarbonisation ambition. The project aims to demonstrate how sustainable, decarbonised economies offer enhanced economic development and more resilient futures for the region, while acknowledging actions already underway and the need for further financing and support.
Paul came to Climateworks bringing over 12 years’ experience in international development and international affairs, ranging from program management, development effectiveness, consensus building and diplomatic relations. He has worked across Asia and Africa in both head office and regional levels, and was previously Head of Office in support of the Representative of the UN Secretary General in Vietnam.
Paul holds a Master’s degree in International Studies from the Université de Montréal (Canada) as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Legal Studies from Concordia University (Canada).
