Development Coordinator

Lubna’s responsibilities include managing Climateworks’ annual stewardship plan and activities and supporting philanthropic income generation to meet annual income targets, including securing major gifts to support Climateworks funding priorities. This involves working collaboratively with program teams and identifying and developing meaningful relationships with major donors, trusts and foundations to showcase and support Climateworks’ mission.

Lubna’s diverse background includes working with not-for-profit organisations in the health promotion sector and policy research and writing, as well as project management, stakeholder engagement, reporting, data analysis, cross-cultural communication, research and policy.

During her time with Star Health, she developed a Climate Change Action Plan and consulted across the organisation to contribute submissions to the Health and Human Services Climate Change Adaptation Action Plan 2022-2026. She has also conducted a literature review addressing the interdependent relationship between climate, ecosystems and biodiversity to best address the submissions and consultations. 

Lubna holds a Masters in Public Health Advance (Torrens University Australia) and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry (MR Ambedkar Dental College & Hospital Institute).
