Jo is a senior human resources executive with extensive experience across various geographies and industries including tech, professional services and FMCG.

Jo began her career as a corporate lawyer specialising in corporate litigation and trade practices law at Allens in Melbourne. Previously, Jo has also worked in London and San Francisco at Google and Waymo.  She led the people team at Waymo, the company born from the Google self-driving car project. During her tenure, Joanne oversaw the spin-off of Waymo into a separate company, commercialising and scaling the business and building out the People and Talent team and strategy.  

Before Waymo, she was a senior HR leader for Google Cloud (Europe, Middle East and Africa) helping the business grow globally.  Since moving back to Melbourne, she has been Chief People Officer at Kraft Heinz (ANZ, Japan and Korea), operated her own consulting and advisory business and is a Non Executive Director.

Jo holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Commerce, both with  Monash University.
