Heather is responsible for providing high level strategic support to the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team to undertake their leadership duties, including operationalising the strategy, engagement with the Board, and increasing accountability throughout organisational decision-making. The role also supports CEO external engagements through preparing content, presentations and speeches. 

Previously Heather worked in the Strategy team, leading the development of Climateworks’ systems change approach and business planning processes. 

Before joining Climateworks, Heather worked in the UK for the Wellcome Trust, a philanthropic health research funder, working on systems level change to support the translation of research into policy and practice.

Heather’s experience also includes strategy design, engagement and partnerships, having worked for Ethicore, a consultancy focussed on supporting NGOs and businesses to increase their social and environmental impact. She has also worked for the Australian Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet on Indigenous environmental policy and programs.

Heather holds a Bachelor of Environmental Management (Hons) from Flinders University.
