James is responsible for delivering both internal and external initiatives that boost Climateworks’ research, analysis and modelling capabilities in line with our organisational objectives.

He previously worked as a strategist with Climate Action Network Australia and as a researcher and advocate with several non-government organisations including Environmental Justice Australia and the Queensland Conservation Council. James has also worked as a researcher and lecturer with several Australian Universities. 

James holds a PhD with Griffith University (Qld), a Master of Education with University of New England (NSW), a Graduate Diploma in Education with Queensland University of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts with University of Queensland.
