Organisational Strategy Lead

As a member of the Senior Leadership Group, Clare leads the development and implementation of our organisational strategy both for long-term impact and through setting of annual priorities. 

Clare also works with the Executive Leadership Team and Board to  support development of our vision and direction. This includes alignment with Monash Sustainable Development Institute and Monash University’s Impact 2030 plan.

At the operational level, Clare is responsible for ensuring that our programs work towards shared outcomes that contribute to systems level transformation, in line with our strategic goals.

Impact-led, Clare is an experienced strategist and creative thinker with more than 17 years’ experience in working with international, national and local not-for-profits to deliver lasting social and environmental change.

Clare has shaped climate initiatives and organisational strategy in Australia, India, Southeast Asia, the UK and the US, with a focus on transforming our energy, food and farming systems. This includes how business, policy and financial actors can enable change.

Clare has a BA in Philosophy from the University of Southampton, Masters in Archives & Records Management from University College London and a coaching diploma from the Coaching Academy. Clare has also completed short courses in permaculture, Aboriginal Cultural Awareness and aquaponics.
