In April 2020 Climateworks Australia launched Decarbonisation Futures, which sets out detailed evidence of how major sectors of the Australian economy can move to net zero emissions and keep warming below 2 degrees, and even 1.5 degrees.
The report launch was timely, in the midst of the current global pandemic. As the country looks to rebuild the economy, there is a chance now to do this while setting ourselves up for the transformational decade of climate action.
On Wednesday 29 April Climateworks’ Head of National Programs, Amandine Denis-Ryan and Senior Project Manager, Tom Yankos kicked off the first in a new Climateworks webinar series to talk through the report findings.
